Statement of Faith

We believe in the one true God who lives eternally in three persons — the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit — the Creator of the heavens and the earth. We believe in the divine inspiration and authority of the Old and New Testament Scriptures, which are the written Word of God — fully trustworthy for faith and conduct. We believe in the dignity of all people, lovingly made in God’s image as male and female, but then corrupted by sin.

We believe in the incarnation of God’s eternal Son, the Lord Jesus Christ — born of the virgin Mary; truly divine and truly human, yet without sin. We believe in the atoning sacrifice of Christ on the cross: dying in our place, paying the price of sin and defeating evil, so reconciling us with God. We believe in the bodily resurrection of Christ the only Saviour of the world, his physical ascension to the heaven and mediation for mankind to the Father.

We believe in the justification of sinners solely by the grace of God through faith in Christ. We believe in the ministry of God the Holy Spirit, who leads us to repentance, unites us with Christ through new birth, fills us with the love of the Father empowering us and enabling our witness. We believe in the Church, the body of Christ that, given life by the Spirit and endowed with the Spirit’s gifts and ministries, works as the priesthood of all believers to proclaim the gospel of God’s love and justification.

We believe on the personal and visible return of Jesus Christ, who will raise all people from the dead to judgement; eternal life to the redeemed and eternal condemnation to the lost. We believe in the eternal inclusion of the church in the Father and The Son and the ever expanding Kingdom of God.

As a Christian organization and as the guiding principles of our work, we value being able to see God as the perfect Father and the perfect love, the Father who loves everyone with unconditional love. All of us — the whole mankind — have our origin in him, and all the people are his beloved children. Even though we, in the Fall, walked away from the Father and mankind became orphan and fatherless, the Father did not leave us in that state. He started to prepare a way for his children to come back home, and even more: he himself wanted to come to us.

Through Father’s love we are able to see with completely new eyes, who Jesus is and what he was sent to do. Jesus is God’s only Son, our Lord, our Saviour and our oldest brother. The Father sent him to this world, to be a human among humans. During thirty years Jesus served his earthly father Joseph and his mother Mary as their son. The perfect love of the Father was manifested in Jesus, and during his ministry of about three years, Jesus revealed his Father to the world. After his disciples had received the truth and the revelation of the fact that God is their Father, too, Jesus prayed to the Father, saying, “Father, the hour has come, glorify your Son.” In the same way, we too can receive the revelation that God is our real Father.

On the cross Jesus suffered the death for us. He is now sitting in heaven on the right hand of the Father — in the bosom of the Father — where he said he would go to prepare a place for those who believe in him. We believe that we can live as sons and daughters to the Father like Jesus did, revealing to the world who our real Father is. We can receive the compassion of the Father’s heart and live our life in heart forgiveness, experiencing eternal life already here on earth.
